Ledge Life Tackle is a fishing tackle company based in Haverhill, Massachusetts, serving anglers who fish the Gulf of Maine. Founded by commercial fishermen, the brand builds equipment to withstand demanding, everyday use in harsh offshore conditions. Its focus is on practical, commercial-grade gear shaped by the founders’ experience working year-round on the water.
The company offers handmade custom spinning, conventional, and big game fishing rods, built with components from suppliers including Fuji, Seeker, Winthrop Tackle, Rainshadow, and Alps. Rods are designed for a range of target species, including tuna, pollock, halibut, swordfish, striped bass, baitfish, and sharks. Ledge Life Tackle invites customers to discuss custom builds, target species, and ordering through its contact channels.
Co-founder and owner Capt. Joe Letourneau is captain of the F/V Lady Rebecca and has more than 25 years of saltwater fishing experience. Co-founder and rod builder Harrison Stearns brings over 15 years of rod-building experience and extensive commercial fishing experience. Together, they build tackle to the standards they rely on themselves.
