le Doc du Vélo

Le Doc Du Vélo is a mobile bicycle repair and cycling service based around Alès, France. Its artisan-led approach brings repairs and maintenance directly to customers, with service available in Alès and surrounding areas including Anduze, Quissac, Le Vigan, Uzès, Sommières, Barjac and Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort. Travel, on-site diagnosis and estimates are free; customers pay for parts and repairs only after approving the proposed work. The service aims to make bicycle care convenient and transparent, while explaining problems and repair options to help riders better understand and maintain their bikes.

Beyond home repairs, Le Doc Du Vélo offers self-repair workshops where participants can learn basic bicycle maintenance using a fully equipped workshop, and may bring their own bicycle. The business also rents conventional bicycles for affordable local outings. For riders experiencing discomfort, pain or tingling, it provides postural advice to improve comfort and performance, taking individual needs and health concerns into account.
