About Ledriz
LEDRIZ is a renowned research think-tank and a member of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU). Established in 2003, LEDRIZ aims to develop well-grounded pro-working people policy positions through research. With a board comprising trade union leaders and distinguished academics, LEDRIZ influences development processes and outcomes at national, regional, and international levels.
The institute is also a part of the Africa Labour Research Network (ALRN), promoting collaborative policy-oriented research for the African labor movement. LEDRIZ houses the Alternatives to Neo-Liberalism in Southern Africa (ANSA) Program, working towards sustainable human development. Their publications, such as The Search for Sustainable Human Development in Southern Africa, provide alternative policy frameworks for Zimbabwe's economic and social challenges.
LEDRIZ's strategic objectives include research and analysis, education and training, technical support, advocacy and engagement, and organizational development. With a vision to be a world-class labor-based research think-tank, LEDRIZ strengthens the capacity of the labor movement to protect the rights and interests of the working people in Zimbabwe
