Leeds Mind is an independent mental health charity supporting people in Leeds and West Yorkshire to move towards better mental health. Guided by its own board of trustees, the charity provides help for individuals, families, young people and workplaces, and has achieved the Mind Quality Mark. Its services include counselling, peer support, social prescribing, support for people aged 10–25, and help for people affected by suicide. Leeds Mind also offers employment support to help people experiencing mental health difficulties find or stay in work in ways that support recovery, alongside creative wellbeing activities and arts therapies.
For employers and organisations, Leeds Mind provides mental health training focused on practical strategies for communication and workplace wellbeing. The charity also offers employer networks and connections, and invites people to get involved through volunteering, donations and fundraising events. Its activities include public challenges and community fundraising, with proceeds helping sustain local mental health support.
