Leela Gray

Leela Gray is a dedicated public servant, small business leader, and retired Army Brigadier General, passionately campaigning for Congress in Florida. Drawing from her experiences as a third-generation veteran, she deeply understands the importance of hard work and opportunity. Raised in a modest family, Leela learned early the value of responsibility and determination, working various jobs to fund her education, including roles as a babysitter and a waitress.

Her military career spans 30 years, including significant leadership positions and deployments, which equipped her with skills in problem-solving and teamwork. After serving in the military, Leela transitioned into the private sector, where she thrived in technology and communications, helping businesses grow and innovate.

In addition to her professional achievements, Leela actively mentors startup founders and champions veteran advocacy through initiatives like her TV show, Veteran Strong. Now, as a congressional candidate, she strives to reopen opportunities for the hardworking citizens of Pinellas County, Florida, focusing on creating a brighter future for all.
