FREDD, the Festival International du Film d’Environnement, is an environmental film festival scheduled for 12–20 November 2026. It brings together films, public events and educational activities focused on environmental themes. The programme includes films in competition, science films, youth films, one-hour films and works outside the competition, alongside the Arco Iris selection.
Festival activities also include opening and closing evenings, screenings at venues such as the Cinémathèque, the Hôtel de Région d’Occitanie and the Cinéma Cratère, a scientific symposium, radio programmes and other events. Visitors can explore the festival catalogue and learn about the jury, including its student juries, as well as the festival’s patron, Marie-Monique Robin. FREDD also highlights Arco Iris, a European Union co-funded project that raises awareness of ecology through cinema.
Beyond the annual festival, its associated organization presents actions, invites people to join or volunteer, and provides information for school groups. The website offers practical information, partner details, press contacts and a newsletter
