LEFSC

Lake Effect Figure Skating Club (LEFSC) is a figure skating club representing skaters from across West Michigan. Its mission is to cultivate and develop mutual respect and support among ice skaters of all ages and abilities, whether they skate competitively or recreationally. The club provides a community for people interested in figure skating and offers a range of ways to participate, including classes and programs, team opportunities, ice time, events, and membership.

LEFSC’s teams include a high school team, youth synchronized skating, and adult synchronized skating, bringing together skaters at different stages of life. The club also shares information about its coaching staff, board of directors, and frequently asked questions, helping members and prospective participants learn more about its organization and activities. Volunteer opportunities are another part of its community involvement. Through its programs, teams, and events, Lake Effect Figure Skating Club supports participation in skating across West Michigan and encourages an inclusive environment built on respect and mutual support.
