LEGA CONTRO LA DROGA

Lega Contro la Droga APS is an Italian nonprofit association focused on addiction, mental health and social wellbeing. Guided by the motto “It takes life to love life,” it works with individuals, young people and families to address social and psychological distress and strengthen connections within communities. Its areas of activity include prevention and social intervention, psychology and psychotherapy, research into contemporary forms of distress, and training and education.

The association’s work includes Centro POLIS, a community-based service offering activities related to psychological care and support. Its projects and public events explore topics such as adolescence, dependency, schools, families and social relationships. Through initiatives including Metro(Polis), the organisation promotes research, discussion and collaboration among local networks working on emerging needs. It also provides opportunities for internships and shares news, articles, notices and information about its activities. Based in Palermo, Lega Contro la Droga APS presents its work as a combination of care, prevention, research and community engagement, with particular attention to addiction and the wellbeing of younger generations.
