Legacy Aero Consultancy is an independent aviation advisory business based in Abu Dhabi, founded in 2026 by aviation maintenance professional Alan Aubrey Hamilton. With more than 35 years of military and civil aviation experience, including 17 years at Global Aerospace Logistics, Hamilton provides direct, practical support to aircraft buyers, operators, lessors, and maintenance organisations. He holds FAA A&P mechanic and Inspection Authorization credentials and has worked across South America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.

The consultancy offers pre-purchase inspections, including aircraft condition and records reviews, with documented findings and clear recommendations. It also conducts independent maintenance and MRO audits against FAA, EASA, and UAEMAR requirements, and advises on airworthiness, regulatory compliance, directives, service bulletins, and quality systems. For aircraft needing parts, Legacy Aero sources hard-to-find spares for utility and legacy aircraft and engines, checking traceability and release documentation before shipment. Its experience includes fixed-wing and rotary aircraft such as the Twin Otter, Islander, Skyvan, Caravan, King Air, and Bell helicopters, as well as PT6A and TPE331 engines.
