Legacy Stables and Karin's Horse Connection

Legacy Stables and Karin’s Horse Connection are based in Caledonia, Michigan, and share a mission of helping people experience the joy of connecting with horses. Legacy Stables is a riding and activity business welcoming riders aged two and older, from beginners to experienced equestrians. Its offerings include weekly riding lessons, one-time rides, horse camps, birthday parties, field trips, homeschool programs, specialty camps, and opportunities to learn about horse care. Visitors can also enjoy grooming and time around the horses.

Karin’s Horse Connection, also known as Therapeutic Horse Connection, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit offering therapeutic programs, recreational and competitive vaulting, and adaptive vaulting. Its programs are designed to support participants’ emotional, mental, and physical well-being, and many activities require no prior horse experience. The organization also provides opportunities to volunteer and spend time with horses through activities such as yoga with minis and Equine Zen. With a herd of more than 25 horses and a welcoming team, the two organizations offer experiences for individuals, families, and groups.
