Legal Aid at Work is a trusted nonprofit legal services organization that has been dedicated to assisting low-income working families for over a century. With a deep commitment to equity, our mission is to help people understand and assert their workplace rights while advocating for employment laws and systems that benefit those who need it most. We offer a range of comprehensive programs to address various issues faced by workers in California.

Our initiatives include the Central Valley Workers' Rights Project, Community Legal Services, Disability Rights, Fair Play for Girls in Sports, Gender Equity and LGBTQ Rights, National Origin and Immigrants' Rights Project, SURVIVE, Racial Economic Justice, Unemployment Insurance, Wage Protection, and Work & Family.
