Legendary Volleyball

Legendary Volleyball, also known as VolleyOC, is a beach volleyball community serving players in Orange County, California. Founded by AVP professional Ed Ratledge, the organization offers instruction and competition for athletes ranging from beginners to experienced players. Its programs are designed to help participants develop skills, build confidence, get active, meet other players, and enjoy the game in a welcoming but competitive environment.

Youth offerings include beach camps led by Ratledge and professional instructors, introducing young athletes to the beach game. Adults can join year-round classes, typically held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Most sessions last two hours, with one hour of drills followed by guided play, and many are personally instructed by Ratledge. Legendary Volleyball also organizes tournaments in Huntington Beach in partnership with AAU and P1440, along with clinics, clubs, and other volleyball events. With a focus on quality coaching and well-organized competition, the organization aims to make beach volleyball engaging for players at every level.
