The National Military Museum (Nationaal Militair Museum) offers an immersive experience that brings the world of the armed forces to life. Located in Soest, the museum hosts an extensive collection of military artifacts, making it the largest of its kind in the Netherlands. Visitors can engage in both indoor and outdoor activities that delve into military history, including exhibitions highlighting powerful war stories and experiences of veterans.

The museum features various attractions, such as the iconic CH-47D Chinook helicopter and operational tanks like the Leopard 2A6. It also showcases a unique escape room, "Bunker 83," which invites participants to make critical decisions reminiscent of Cold War tensions. For younger audiences, the "Xplore" area offers adventurous learning about military life.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday, the museum encourages communal engagement through events and exhibitions celebrating military culture. With its commitment to education and remembrance, the National Military Museum serves as a vital space for all those interested in the narratives that shape our collective history.
