Fuck You

Legitimate Golf is an independent golf blog focused on the game and its effects on everyday life. Through personal accounts and course visits, it offers an informal, reflective look at playing golf, with particular attention to New York City, Long Island, and nearby destinations. Its recurring “Roadgolf” posts chronicle trips to courses such as Wild Turkey at Crystal Springs Resort, Spook Rock, and Montauk Downs, while “Roadrange” entries explore driving ranges including Southampton Golf Range and Poxabogue Golf.

The blog also follows winter golf, describing the pleasures and challenges of playing through colder months at locations such as Silver Lake and Dyker Beach. Alongside travel and seasonal reports, Legitimate Golf shares observations about golf courses, local scenery, the experience of getting around to play, and the culture of the sport. Popular content includes a golf dictionary that explains expressions and mishits in the blog’s distinctive voice.

Rather than selling equipment or providing formal instruction, Legitimate Golf offers entertaining first-person stories, course impressions, and practical inspiration for golfers interested in exploring the game year-round
