About WordPress
LeighAeroSystems is an agile and innovative multi-discipline defense firm that specializes in the development and production of state-of-the-art flight systems. With a rich history in the UAS industry, LeighAeroSystems has pioneered breakthrough systems since the early eighties. One of their flagship products is the SkyEye R4G-50 UAS, a world-class Group III Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS).
This versatile aircraft is capable of addressing key military missions and civilian requirements. It boasts exceptional quietness with its 1500 hour TBO engine, and has a payload capacity of up to 200 lbs. With an impressive ceiling of 18,000 ft and an endurance exceeding 18 hours, it offers a line of sight range of over 200 km.
LeighAeroSystems also offers SMARTSHOT PGM guidance kits, which convert conventional 120mm mortar bombs into extended-range precision-guided munitions. These kits ensure accuracy of less than 5M CEP and provide ranges of up to 16 km. By converting existing inventory, SMARTSHOT minimizes collateral damage and streamlines logistic supply trains.
With their expertise and resources, LeighAeroSystems is at the forefront of the industry, delivering exceptional products and services to meet the demanding needs of defense and civilian sectors alike
