Leigh Hurst

Leigh Hurst is an author, speaker, and advocate whose work centers on personal voice, purpose, and breast cancer awareness. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 at age 33, she created the phrase “Feel Your Boobies” after noticing a lump that helped lead to her diagnosis. What began as a playful T-shirt reminder for friends grew into a wider campaign and the Feel Your Boobies Foundation, formed to share the message with young women.

Hurst’s story informs her belief that an individual voice can inspire meaningful change, even when the idea is simple. Her book, Say Something Big, explores how people can connect passion and purpose with a desire to make a difference.
