Leilani Maxera

Kaipuokaualoku is the private practice of Leilani Maxera, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, therapist, death educator, and grief worker. Drawing on her identity as a daughter of the Hawaiian diaspora, Maxera offers therapy, death work, and consulting with a focus on care, grief, and end-of-life experiences. Individual therapy is available to clients in the Hawaiian Kingdom and Washington state; other services can be accessed regardless of location.

The practice’s offerings include individual therapy, support groups, grief and death work, and organizational support and consulting. Specialized groups address grief and care under capitalism as well as medical aid in dying. Through these services, Kaipuokaualoku supports individuals and organizations navigating grief, death, and related questions of care. The website also provides information about pricing, media, and contact options. Maxera holds clinical social work licenses in Hawaii and Washington, and can be reached by phone or email for inquiries about the practice and its services.
