Leitrim PPN is a prominent brand in County Leitrim, consisting of a network of community, voluntary, social inclusion, and environmental organizations. With over 200 members located in various towns, including Ballinamore, Carrick-on-Dromahair, Shannon, Manorhamilton, Mohill, Rooskey, and Rossinver, Leitrim PPN strives to build a better community for the people of Leitrim. Operating under an independent framework, Leitrim PPN is managed by a dedicated voluntary Secretariat that reports to its members through the Plenary.

The organization focuses on empowering the community by ensuring representation in important decision-making processes, such as Council committees and policy submissions. Additionally, Leitrim PPN acts as a vital information hub, keeping the community informed about local issues, events, resources, and supports through regular newsletters, activity reports, and a well-maintained website and social media presence. Leitrim PPN offers training and support for community groups, collaborating with local agencies like Leitrim County Council and Leitrim Development Company to deliver workshops on essential topics such as Governance, Grant Writing, and Communications.

The PPN is funded and supported by Leitrim County Council and the Department of Rural and Community Development, with the allocation of the budget proposed by the PPN Secretariat to the Plenary.
