Leket Israel

Leket Israel is the leading organization in Israel dedicated exclusively to food rescue. It specializes in collecting and harvesting surplus high-quality food, which is then distributed through various charities to support hundreds of thousands of individuals in need across the country. Their impactful work not only addresses immediate hunger but also promotes food security by rerouting nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste.

Leket Israel's initiatives include partnerships with farmers, volunteers who assist in food collection, and programs like Leket Express, providing aid to vulnerable communities. They significantly contribute to social equity by ensuring that fresh produce, cooked meals, and essential food items reach those who struggle to access them. The organization also engages in educational projects, offering workshops on healthy eating and nutrition.

Through their relentless efforts, Leket Israel is committed to ensuring that no one in Israel goes hungry, reaffirming its vital role in the fight against food waste and hunger
