LELAN, the South Australian Lived Experience Leadership & Advocacy Network, is the go-to organization for people facing mental distress, social issues, or injustice in South Australia. As the independent peak body, LELAN serves as a powerful voice, promoting the rights and leadership of individuals with lived experience to drive meaningful change. At LELAN, we believe in linking people with lived experience to advocacy and representative opportunities, providing them with a platform to share their stories and contribute to systemic change.

We create a safe space where individuals can develop skills, gain knowledge, and share their experiences, fostering an inclusive community where everyone's voice is heard. As part of our commitment, LELAN offers a range of projects and initiatives. These include Alternatives to Suicide (Alt2Su) groups, LEDGE modules, and workshops on topics like activating lived experience leadership and navigating COVID-19 vaccinations.
