About Le Métro d'Abidjan
LE METRO D'ABIDJAN is an ambitious project aimed at revolutionizing urban transportation in Abidjan. With a 37.4 km trac,h the metro will provide a convenient and efficient mode of transport for the city's residents. The project includes 18 stations and 21 rail and road bridges, allowing for easy access and connectivity. Not only will this modern transport system ease congestion in the bustling city, it will also create around 2,000 direct jobs and serve approximately 540,000 passengers daily.
The construction company, SICMA, involved in the project, is actively working on several aspects, including the installation of water network protection systems and the diversion of existing utility networks. They are also focused on ensuring the compensation and relocation of affected individuals and communities.
