Lemieux Dressage is a horse and rider training business based at Cedar Grove Farm in Peacham, Vermont, serving the state’s Northeast Kingdom. Guided by the principle that “it’s about the horses. Always,” the business offers lessons, horse training, and coaching for a wide range of experience levels and ambitions, from early foundations to the FEI ring.
Michelle Lemieux, a USDF bronze, silver, and gold medalist, teaches riders pursuing varied goals. Many students ride their own horses, though this is not required. For horses in training, she develops an individualized program based on each horse’s needs and the owner’s objectives. Michelle also supports students who compete in dressage at local and regional events through coaching and competition guidance.
Lemieux Dressage emphasizes confidence, engagement, comfort, and enjoyment in its work with horses and riders. Michelle earned all three of her USDF medals on Laurie, a horse she trained herself. Lessons and training are offered Monday through Friday at the Peacham location.
