Lena's Pferde

Lena’s Pferde is a nonprofit association founded in memory of Lena, who found comfort in her horses while grieving her father. After Lena died in 2014, her family and supporters established the organization to share the calming companionship of horses with others facing difficult circumstances.

The association welcomes children and adults with disabilities, serious or incurable illnesses, as well as their relatives. Its aim is to offer visitors a few peaceful, enjoyable hours with horses and help them find renewed strength for everyday life. Guests can spend time cuddling and grooming the ponies, and may also take a few turns riding in the saddle. Individuals, families, and groups are welcome, and visits are free of charge, recognizing that illness can bring significant financial strain.

Lena’s Pferde emphasizes the sensitivity, gentleness, and lack of prejudice that make horses comforting companions. The organization provides a welcoming opportunity to connect with the animals in a restful and supportive atmosphere.
