Lengerich-bauernschaft

The Schützenverein Lengerich-Bauernschaft e.V. is a community shooting club in Lengerich, Germany, with a history dating to 1601. The association brings members and local residents together through traditional festivals, ceremonies, and year-round club activities, while preserving regional customs and shared heritage. Its main events include the annual Schützenfest, winter celebrations, parades, and shooting competitions, where members can take part in activities such as the traditional king’s shooting and crossbow shooting. The club also recognizes members’ contributions and milestones, including royal anniversaries and long service in organizing committees.

In preparation for its 425th anniversary, the club commissioned a new flag, which was blessed in 2026 with support from members and donors. The association shares news, schedules, event information, photographs, and historical highlights through its website. Its anniversary celebrations included a procession, music, a festival tent gathering, and commemorative publications and pins.
