Dr Agatha MacPie

Le Nid de Pie is the professional home of Agatha Liévin-Bazin, also known as Dr Agatha MacPie, an ethologist with a doctorate specializing in the social behavior of birds. As an independent science communicator, she makes animal behavior and the natural world accessible through writing, audio, speaking, scientific consulting, teaching and illustration. Her publications include books and articles, and her podcast explores animal-related subjects.

Her featured book, Vis ma vie d’abeille, presents the life of a bee in the first person, covering its habitat, development, work, pollination, food, honey-making, reproduction and interactions with people.
