Eye Surgery Clinic is a Chicago-area eye care practice founded by Dr. Leo Ayzenberg, an eye surgeon with more than 25 years of experience and over 10,000 cataract surgeries performed. The clinic emphasizes attentive, patient-centered care, combining medical expertise and technology with clear communication, responsible diagnosis, and follow-up focused on eye health.

Its services include cataract surgery using small-incision, sutureless techniques and topical anesthesia, with standard, toric, and multifocal intraocular lens options. The practice also provides general eye exams, diabetic eye exams, and treatment of complications related to background diabetic retinopathy. Laser procedures address glaucoma, diabetes, retinal detachment, secondary cataracts, and corneal scars; other eye and eyelid surgeries are also offered.

Patients can receive help selecting designer eyeglasses and contact lenses through the clinic’s optical boutique, which offers a range of frame and lens styles. Eye Surgery Clinic has locations in Mount Prospect and Chicago, Illinois, and accepts many major medical and vision insurance plans. The practice encourages ongoing monitoring and appropriate eyewear as part of maintaining long-term eye health.
