Leopard Run

The Leopard Run is a unique three-day trail running event set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Kouga Mountains within the Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve. Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, this event combines the thrill of technical mountain running with a strong commitment to eco-awareness and sustainability. Participants can expect hearty meals sourced from local Baviaan farms, fostering a sense of community and connection with nature.

The weekend begins with a prologue followed by two main stages of trail running. Stage 1 features a challenging 34-kilometer mountain route, while Stage 2 offers a more accessible 23-kilometer trail, providing stunning vistas and a chance to immerse in nature. With a cap of 50 participants to ensure a boutique experience, the event also emphasizes responsible practices, including strict gear requirements and a leave no trace policy.
