About Le Paris Noir
Le Paris Noir is an innovative brand dedicated to illuminating the often-overlooked contributions of individuals from the Black community in Parisian history. Through engaging historical walks, Le Paris Noir connects visitors with the lives of artists, political figures, and intellectuals, drawing a narrative thread from the Sorbonne to Montmartre and along the Seine. Founded by a licensed guide certified by Sciences Po, the brand merges academic rigor with a captivating public presentation style, making history accessible to all.
In response to increasing demand from locals, Le Paris Noir offers group tours for up to 25 people on weekends, alongside customized private tours for individuals, schools, and organizations during the week. Additionally, the brand has adapted to challenges faced in tourism, introducing online conferences and hosting prominent institutions like Google and the MIT. Since May 2021, they have partnered with the Fondation pour la Mémoire de l’Esclavage to produce a podcast series featuring expert interviews.
