Lepa Vida Winery is a family-owned boutique winery nestled in the picturesque Vipava Valley of Slovenia. With a rich history dating back to 1988, our winery is the result of three generations of hard work and a commitment to crafting exceptional wines. Our story began with Roman Ipavec, who received permission to produce and sell his own wine. The iconic Lepa Vida bottle, designed by renowned Slovenian industrial designer Oskar Kogoj, represents the brave young women called Aleksandrinke who worked as wet nurses and babysitters in Egypt.

At Lepa Vida, we believe in the power of nature and are dedicated to organic grape growing practices. By forgoing herbicides, insecticides, and artificial fertilizers, we protect our ecosystem and ensure the highest quality grapes. In the cellar, we embrace a diverse range of winemaking techniques and traditions, resulting in wines that are truly unique.
