Le Phénix scène nationale Valenciennes

Le Phénix scène nationale Valenciennes is a performing arts venue and European centre for artistic creation in Valenciennes, France. It presents a varied programme of theatre, dance, music and other live performances, welcoming artists and audiences throughout the season. Its listings include productions by established and emerging performers, concerts, festivals and events hosted both at the venue and at partner locations.

Beyond presenting shows, Le Phénix supports artistic creation and cooperation, including through SUN, its international production and distribution hub, and the Interreg EMERGE project. It also works with schools, healthcare and social-service organisations, businesses and local communities, and offers opportunities to take part in artistic workshops and theatre visits.

The venue is designed as a welcoming cultural meeting place, with a media library, a bar-restaurant called L’Avant-Scène and a childcare facility. Family activities and accessibility services help make the programme available to different audiences. Visitors can explore the agenda, reserve tickets, find practical information and access publications about the season, educational selection and sponsorship.
