L'équilibriste

L’Équilibriste is a cultural and community space in Lyon’s 3rd arrondissement, between the Montchat and Monplaisir neighborhoods. Founded from a vision of sharing and discovery around sustainable and ethical themes, it brings together a café, bar and restaurant with an association that supports social and cultural life in the neighborhood. Guests can enjoy a welcoming setting and, in warmer months, a secluded courtyard terrace.

The restaurant serves an entirely vegetarian menu that changes every two months, with a vegan option for each starter, main course and dessert. Its kitchen and bar prioritize local, seasonal and organic products sourced through short supply chains. The venue also works to reduce waste and reuse furnishings and décor.

Through the association Les Amis de L’Équilibriste, visitors can take part in workshops, including yoga and creative activities, as well as concerts, performances and other cultural events. The space also offers board games and opportunities for neighbors to meet. L’Équilibriste holds sustainability and responsible dining certifications, including three Écotable stars and the FiG label.
