Les Andernochats

Les Andernochats is an animal protection association based in Andernos-les-Bains, in Gironde, France. Supported by volunteers and members, the organisation works to protect and defend cats in the local community. Its activities include taking in abandoned cats and helping them find adoptive homes, with information about available cats and guidance on the adoption process provided through its website.

The association also offers advice and support to cat owners and prospective adopters, and develops initiatives intended to benefit animals. People who cannot adopt can learn about cats available for sponsorship, while supporters can contribute through donations or other forms of assistance. The organisation also provides information for people dealing with a lost or found cat.

The refuge welcomes visitors at its Andernos-les-Bains location, with opening hours that vary by day and appointments available in the late afternoon. Those wishing to visit or ask questions can contact the association by phone or email
