Les Doulas Nantaises is a collective of doulas in Nantes, France, dedicated to women’s well-being, autonomy, and support through significant life transitions. Their work centers on pregnancy, birth, and the post-partum period, while also welcoming women navigating puberty and first periods, breastfeeding, menopause, fertility treatment, adoption, and other family journeys. The collective offers compassionate listening, practical information, and non-judgmental support to help each person make informed choices.
Its inclusive approach serves a wide range of families, including solo parents, blended and same-sex families, and people facing separation or difficult experiences such as miscarriage, pregnancy loss, abortion, or medical termination. Services include individual support, warm-oil body massage, four-hand treatments, gentle rocking, and pelvic wrapping. The doulas also host workshops, discussion circles, and gatherings, including a monthly café for expectant and new mothers to connect and share experiences.
They offer ways to celebrate life passages, such as first periods, breastfeeding, menopause, and Mama Blessings. A solidarity fund helps make comprehensive support accessible to women who need financial assistance
