Les Écuries du Lac is a small, family-run riding stable in Overijse, Belgium, offering a welcoming place for children, teenagers and adults to discover and enjoy horse riding. Its approach emphasizes natural, considerate horsemanship, the well-being of horses and riders, and learning at each person’s pace in a supportive, pressure-free environment. Activities include riding lessons for different ages and skill levels, holiday camps, short camps, equestrian birthday celebrations and extracurricular programs for children.

The stable has indoor and outdoor riding arenas, allowing lessons and practice throughout the year, as well as a kitchen and terrace for families and riders to relax and spend time together. Horse welfare is central to daily life: the horses go outdoors each day, live alongside companions and have hay available freely, with regular professional health care. The stable’s horses and ponies support a range of experiences, from young children’s first rides to further development in jumping and dressage
