The Moving Dentist is the professional practice and personal platform of Leslie Elenbaas, a Dutch dentist, yoga teacher and writer who connects Eastern wisdom with Western science. After graduating from the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam in 2018, Leslie has worked as a general dentist and in complex endodontics, as well as teaching and researching at the University of Amsterdam. Her integrative approach views the mouth as part of overall health and draws on dental science alongside complementary perspectives, including breathing, nutrition, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She offers dental consultations and treatments in the Netherlands during June through September, and can provide online guidance or referrals at other times. Leslie also teaches yoga internationally, with classes combining strength and focus with softer, more reflective practice. Her workshops explore anatomy, physiology and health through movement, breath and nutrition.
Additional services include support for dental practices, collaborative yoga retreats and travel experiences, and writing, editing, translation and website content on yoga, health and travel
