Les Ormes

Oasis des Ormes is an association and welcoming rural venue in the Moivre Valley, dedicated to local biodiversity, ecological practices and activities that nurture the body and community connections. Its grounds include an organic orchard, a permaculture vegetable garden and a large park recognised as an LPO bird refuge, bordered by a river. The association supports nature conservation and offers space for workshops, courses, artistic residencies and community events throughout the year.

The site is also the central dojo of the F.AAGE, the Federation of Aïkiryu and Arts of Gesture, which has been based there since 1998. Two practice spaces—a 100-square-metre dojo and a 200-square-metre multipurpose hall—host martial arts and other body-based activities. Visitors can also stay in one of three unusual tourist accommodations for an immersive experience in the oasis. Regular programmes include workshops and seasonal gatherings, with activities such as movement practices, plant knowledge and nature walks. Oasis des Ormes welcomes proposals for events and invites people to take part in its association’s activities.
