Les Petites Écuries de Vasco is a pony club on Île de Ré, France, set among vineyards and marshes near the cycle path linking Ars-en-Ré and Saint-Clément-des-Baleines. Open throughout the year, it offers children aged 2 to 16 a welcoming natural setting in which to discover and enjoy riding. Its activities include accompanied, approximately 20-minute pony walks through the vineyards, with an adult required for each pony, as well as riding lessons and holiday courses.
Courses combine practical learning with games and are designed for young riders of different experience levels, from beginners to more advanced participants. Lessons are available in groups of up to 10 students or individually, and riders can work toward French equestrian federation riding certificates at all levels. Led by a qualified, experienced instructor, teaching includes disciplines such as pony games and show jumping.
The club also takes part in show-jumping and Equifun competitions with its students. Visitors can learn about the ponies, including Shetland and Dartmoor ponies, and see updates about new arrivals
