Les P'tites Grignotes

Les P’tites Grignotes is a family-run animal-breeding business based in Carcassonne, in France’s Aude region. Founded by animal lovers with backgrounds in animal biology and agricultural life, the family places animal welfare and responsible breeding at the heart of its work. Its animals grow up in a calm, affectionate home environment, accustomed to human contact, everyday household sounds and gentle handling.

The breeders offer rabbits, guinea pigs and mice, as well as Chihuahua puppies and kittens for companionship. They also raise a small number of purebred Sussex hens and offer their fertilised eggs and incubator-hatched chicks. The family welcomes prospective adopters by appointment and aims to help them find an animal suited to life as a pet.

Care includes balanced nutrition, periodic health monitoring and attention to species-specific needs. The animals are selected for companionship, with any individual raising reasonable concerns excluded from breeding. Les P’tites Grignotes also provides adoption guidance and follow-up support, helping owners care for their new companions after they join the family.
