Les Ruaux SA is an equestrian centre and horse-breeding business based in Cortébert, in Switzerland’s Bernese Jura. Guided by a family-oriented tradition and a strong commitment to horse welfare, the team provides attentive care and tailored support for horses and their owners. Its services include horse boarding, breeding stallions, training horses, horse rental and the sale of horses.
The breeding programme serves both competitive ambitions and leisure riding, with careful attention to each animal’s development. Les Ruaux also offers personalised guidance to people considering welcoming one of its horses, aiming to support lasting relationships between horses and their owners. The centre’s green, spacious grounds are designed to provide a natural setting for equine wellbeing.
Its expertise includes the Franches-Montagnes breed, valued for its versatility, physical endurance and adaptability. In June 2024, Les Ruaux took part in the sale of 12 Franches-Montagnes horses to the Italian army, whose representatives have selected horses in the region for around three decades
