Les sans pagEs is a feminist, collective and participatory initiative working to reduce gender gaps and bias on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. Founded in 2016, the project brings people together to improve the representation of women and other underrepresented groups in online knowledge, especially on French-language Wikipedia. Its community creates and improves articles, adds reliable sources, and develops related content across the web and in person.
Les sans pagEs also offers training and hosts workshops, edit-a-thons, and collaborative events on subjects such as women in science, geography, sport, history, and LGBTQ+ communities. Activities include the Sans Images illustration project, which produces portraits to accompany biographies, and campaigns such as Wiki Loves Sport. The initiative works with local groups and partners, including projects in Benin, and shares news, resources, and event information through its website and Wikipedia project pages.
