Les Vélos de Ben is a bicycle workshop in Lyon, France, specializing in customized touring bikes for cyclotourism, gravel travel and bikepacking. Founded by Benjamin, known as Ben, the business draws on his experience as a bicycle traveler and his professional cycle-mechanics training. Each bike is designed around the rider’s travel plans and can be built to order from a new or reconditioned frame. Customers can also choose a ready-to-ride model, including bikes available for immediate purchase, or transform and upgrade an existing bicycle to better suit their needs.
The workshop provides bicycle repairs, servicing and maintenance, as well as handcrafted wheel building using quality components. For riders who want to understand their bike and become more self-sufficient on the road, Ben offers a practical course covering a complete bicycle build, from headset assembly to brake and gear adjustments. Les Vélos de Ben welcomes customers at its Lyon workshop Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; visitors are asked to call before arriving.
