Letta

Letta is a digital service for preserving personal messages and sharing them with loved ones at meaningful moments. Users can write sealed letters or record voice messages for children, partners, parents, friends, or even their future selves. Each message can be scheduled for a specific date, such as a birthday, or linked to a milestone or the writer’s passing. A regular check-in system helps determine when messages intended for delivery after the writer’s death should be released.

Letta offers a free plan for creating unlimited draft letters, with features including unlimited recipients, milestone birthday delivery, and encrypted storage. Its Pro subscription adds unlimited sealed letters, voice messages, voice-to-text transcription, and heartbeat check-ins. The service describes its storage as end-to-end encrypted and zero-knowledge, with letters kept sealed until the chosen delivery condition is met. Users can begin drafting without signing up, and the site offers a seven-day free trial of Pro, followed by monthly or annual pricing.
