LEV Asten is a community-focused organisation that helps residents find support, strengthen connections and take part in local life. Its professionals and volunteers work with residents, local organisations and the municipality to help people move forward. The organisation offers advice, practical assistance and a listening ear through consultation sessions, with support covering money and legal matters, general wellbeing, ageing and care for older people and caregivers.

LEV Asten also provides a varied programme of local activities and training. Workshops on positive health explore physical wellbeing, mental health, purpose, quality of life, social participation and everyday functioning; participants can attend individual sessions or follow the full series. Other offerings include bereavement groups for people coping with the loss of a partner, a volunteer foundation course on maintaining boundaries and recognising when someone needs support, and budget training on managing finances, preventing debt, saving and borrowing. The Parkinson Café offers a meeting place for people affected by Parkinson’s, their families, caregivers and care professionals, alongside information about the condition.
