Level Up Tennis

Level Up Tennis is a private coaching business founded and directed by Kent Friedman, a USPTA Elite Teaching Professional with more than 30 years of tennis training and coaching experience. Based in Riverside, Connecticut, the business offers personalized instruction for players of different ages and abilities, with a particular focus on intermediate and advanced players who want to improve their game.

Coaching begins with an evaluation, after which Kent creates customized lesson plans and a practical blueprint for player development. Instruction builds solid fundamentals, efficient movement, modern stroke mechanics, and more fluid play. Players also work on strategy and tactics, including patterns that open the court, shot selection, and court positioning. Super Slow Motion Video Analysis is used to help players understand their technique and improve their strokes. Level Up Tennis emphasizes hands-on coaching and continual improvement, drawing on Kent’s experience and ongoing study of the game. The goal is to help each player strengthen their skills and make more effective decisions on court.
