Levenslicht Verloskundigen

Levenslicht Verloskundigen is a midwifery practice offering personal care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. Its team—Angelique, Lizanne, Savannah and Wilmie—recognises that every woman, pregnancy and birth is different, and tailors guidance to each client’s wishes. The practice welcomes people who are pregnant, considering pregnancy, seeking postnatal support after care from a gynaecologist, or living outside its usual service area.

Weekly appointments are available during the day and in the evening at locations in Schoonhoven, Haastrecht, Oudewater and Lopik, with ultrasound scans also offered. The team provides pregnancy check-ups and information about prenatal tests, miscarriage, birth preparation, labour, the postnatal period, infant feeding and contraception. It also offers courses and themed evenings about childbirth and breastfeeding.

Birth support can take place at home, at St. Antonius Geboortezorg in Leidsche Rijn or at the InZwang Suites in Gouda. Levenslicht says its care is fully reimbursed by every health insurer. Clients can contact the practice for information, appointments or registration.
