Lewisham Arthouse is a cooperatively run, artist-led organization that is dedicated to providing affordable creative space. Founded in 1992, they are located in a Grade 2 listed building in Deptford. With 40 artist studios, as well as a public gallery and workshop programs, Lewisham Arthouse offers subsidised workspace, event, and exhibition facilities to the general public.

Their offerings range from art exhibitions, classes, and workshops to experimental music performances. Additionally, they maintain open access to specialist facilities such as an analogue photography darkroom and a pottery kiln. Through their cooperative structure, members contribute to long-standing outreach and educational opportunities within the borough, working with local organizations, schools, and charities.

Lewisham Arthouse receives support from the London Borough of Lewisham and generates additional resources from membership fees. With a commitment to community engagement and capacity building, they continuously work towards the ongoing development and preservation of their unique space
