Lewis Piano Movers is a professional piano moving and storage company serving Washington, D.C., the surrounding metropolitan area, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. Founded in 2005, the company emphasizes careful handling, efficiency, and personalized service for pianos of every make, model, and size. It is the exclusive mover for Steinway & Sons in the Baltimore–Washington area.

Services include house-to-house and room-to-room piano moves, as well as short- and long-term storage, from a few days to several years. The team can manage challenging moves involving stairs or lifts and uses appropriate equipment to protect instruments and clients’ floors, including padding stair steps when needed. For stored pianos, the company conducts an inspection and provides a copy of the inspection report, with the aim of returning each instrument in the condition received. Lewis Piano Movers also carries two million dollars in insurance. Customers can request a quote by sharing the piano type, pickup and destination locations, stair details, and preferred dates.
