"Leximathia" is a private institution for children and adolescents facing learning, behavioral and/or emotional difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, speech and language problems, ADHD, sensory impairments. Our aim is to help these children and adolescents to believe in themselves, to take advantage of their potentials and to deal with their difficulties in order to be active members of our society. Our team promotes collaboration and partnership among child’s family, school and therapists. What is more, we apply our own intervention methods and techniques so as to help learners alleviate their reading, writing and spelling difficulties. Furthermore, supporting our community, we give lectures to teachers and parents free of charge to help them understand the nature of children’s difficulties and to promote inclusion. Finally, we train teachers, practitioners and therapists to various forms, methods and processes of formal and informal education for the continued learning. All in all, we strongly believe that every child is unique and therefore, special.

About Leximathia
Το Πρότυπο Κέντρο Λόγου και Μάθησης "Λεξιμάθεια" είναι ένα κέντρο που λειτουργεί από το 2000 με στόχο την ανάδειξη των ικανοτήτων των παιδιών με μαθησιακές, γλωσσικές, συναισθηματικές και κοινωνικές ιδιαιτερότητες. Η ομάδα του κέντρου περιλαμβάνει ειδικούς με επιστημονική κατάρτιση και προσφέρει μια ποικιλία μεθόδων μάθησης, όπως μέθοδος ανάγνωσης, μέθοδος ορθογραφίας "LEXIMA" και μέθοδος μαθηματικών "LEXINUM". Το κέντρο ασχολείται επίσης με την αντιμετώπιση διαφόρων μαθησιακών δυσκολιών, όπως δυσλεξία, αυτισμό, αισθητηριακή ολοκλήρωση και άλλες.
