About LFM30
LFM30 is a local initiative aimed at creating a geographical platform to accelerate the construction and infrastructure sector's climate transition and implementation of Agenda 2030. Their overall goal by 2030 is to achieve a climate-neutral construction and infrastructure sector in Malmö, with net zero CO2 emissions, followed by a climate-positive sector by 2035. As part of their commitment, all affiliated members are required to halve their carbon footprint by 2025, and all Developers must initiate at least one climate-neutral construction project.
With 215 member organizations already on board, LFM30 focuses on various strategies to achieve these goals, including business models, circular economy and resource efficiency, design and climate calculations, climate-neutral building materials, climate-neutral management and maintenance, and climate-neutral construction sites and transportation.
