The Landesverband der Freiwilligen Feuerwehren Südtirols, or the Association of Volunteer Fire Brigades of South Tyrol, is dedicated to enhancing fire safety and emergency response in the region. Established to support and coordinate the efforts of over 300 volunteer fire departments, the organization plays a critical role in community safety through various initiatives and training programs.

They offer a comprehensive array of services, including fire prevention courses, advanced training sessions, and specialized skill assessments tailored for both seasoned firefighters and newcomers. With approximately 20,000 members, including active firefighters and youth participants, the association emphasizes not only operational readiness but also community engagement, hosting events like the Landes-Feuerwehrleistungsbewerbe and youth fundraising activities.

The Landesfeuerwehrschule serves as a key educational facility, providing around 50 courses on firefighting techniques and safety protocols. In alignment with their mission, they work tirelessly to ensure that volunteers are well-prepared to respond effectively to emergencies, thus contributing to the safety and security of South Tyrol's communities.
